In the original unclipped dust wrapper.

An anthology of poems by the American poet and scholar John Berryman, an important figure of the "confessional" school of poetry. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1964.

The Dispossessed was Berrymans first mature collection of poems, published early in his career. This anthology includes The Ball Poem, Canto Amor, The Traveller, The Long Home, The Statue, New Years Eve, and more.


CONDITION

In the original publishers cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A few very light marks to the cloth. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with small chips and closed tears, mostly to the head and tail of the spine. Spine is sunned. Light rubbing and handling marks to the wraps. Spots and a couple of small tidemarks to the reverse of the dust wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
