-:Description:-

C A Vandervell and co (CAV) Search light made in brass. Consisting of a brass bodied light , with opening front with bulb holder and reflecting surface. The mount and stand are made of steel. Unsure of the date of this boutiques searchlight, CAV made a lot of lights for ww2 but this is possibly later.

-:Condition:-

Has age related wear patination and dents as to expected, please study the photos. The iron stand has a small hand turn screw with a spring on it, this seems to be ceased as I cant get it undone so cant rotate. The front is opened via two hinges with removeable pins , one of the pins of these is missing but it stays closed without it.
