First edition of this work, a very scarce copy. Containing a series of eight short stories including The Prince with the Nine Sorrows, The Luck of the Roses, and The White King among others. Collated, complete with a frontispiece and engraved title page, as well as eight further frontispieces to each story.

Laurence Housman was a prolific Victorian English playwright, writer, and illustrator, brother to A. E. Housman and Clemence Housman


CONDITION

In the original publishers full decorative cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine, light darkening to back strip. internally, binding split to p. 32, held b three cords only. Pages bright and clean.
