For Sale: Antique Dunn & Co Black Silk Top Hat Sz 7 1/8

I understand that Silk Top Hats ceased being made in 1956 due to the closure of a factory in France that produced this special type of silk, making good examples increasingly scarce.

The Hat fits approx size 7 1/8 head and stands 5” high. The hole for your head boutiques is 8” at widest, 6½” at narrowest & 23” around inner circumference.

Exterior: The hat is in good condition,with a 1½” black material band around it.

Interior: Is in very good condition with leather inner band. Inside the hat is marked for “Dunn & Co.”

Would suit collector or Ascot racegoer alike providing more of a talking point than a modern reproduction!

This hat is in Good overall condition & will make an investment now & for the future. (160)
